Makassar Farm is situated in Siaya County, about 3 kilometers or five minutes’ drive away from the Siaya town along Siaya -Mbaga tarmac road.
The farm would like to establish a pig farm with a stock of 100 piglets and is urgently recruiting a Pig Farm Supervisor to start his/ her functions as soon as possible.
Job Purpose: This position is responsible liaising with our recommended field extension officer on running and management of the farm, distributing food, giving medication, observing animals for signs of illness or injury, maintaining the facility, checking for proper ventilation and temperature conditions, assisting with problem births, performing artificial insemination or other breeding duties, keeping records, and coordinating the disposal of waste.
