Profile Introduction: Our client, a locally owned and leading media house seeks to recruit a self-driven individual to the position of Fleet Manager.
Role Profile: The successful candidate will provide leadership, manage and supervise delivery assistants, drivers and cleaners as well as monitoring fleet operations.
- Ensure cost efficiency measures in transport operations;
- Develop a cohesive and motivated transport team;
- Maintain accurate fleets’ records such as distances covered by each vehicle, for invoicing purposes, fuel usage;
- In liaison with user departments, review customer transport requirements against the routes to be covered;
- Identify suitable vehicles and always advice top management for efficiency and cost management.
